Return to work procedures
EMEL Removals are doing all that we can to help prevent the spread of Covid 19. On the morning of Tuesday the 5Th of January all of our staff were tested for Covid and all passed.
These test were purchased at our own expense. We received no help or funding for this but this is a sign oh how serious we take all of this.
On the day of the move one member of staff will introduce themselves to you and complete a walk around check and risk assessment. The staff member that will be completing this role will be wearing a mask and gloves.
All staff are supplied with and carry masks/gloves at all times. These are to be worn whenever approaching a customer. We highly advise that all customers also follow every precaution to ensure the safety of themsleves, our staff and the public.
When the staff are working they are NOT required or asked to wear a mask. This is an incredibly physical role and the well being of the staff is paramount. We advise that customers vacate the premises while the staff are completing any move.
We expect all touchable and solid surfaces to be sanitised prior to our arrival.
All staff are supplied with sanitiser but please ensure that there is running water on the day of the move.
After each move we will rotate all blankets and covers etc and give them sufficient airing time before re-using them. Staff will be tested for Covid at random or up on showing any symptoms.
It is the customers responsibility to notify us if any member of the household is showing signs of Covid.
We will not accept any liability for anything Covid related however, as you can see we are putting a lot of effort and resources in to place to prevent the spread and as long as our customers are doing the same then we are happy to continue moving people in this difficult time.

This means that we are extremely busy and all working very hard. Please allow us to operate safely, allow us plenty of working space and please cleanse your home and belongings before our arrival. Please do all that you can to help us and continue to help others.
